Our Past, Your Present And Our Future

We would like to wish all of our clients, readers friends and family a very happy new year and all the best for 2007. You have been our bread and butter (Literally) for the past year.

As many of you know, we had a pretty busy end to the 2006 year and as a result, I kept blogging to an absolute minimum. A complete break. As is customary at this time of the year, I will now give a quick rundown on 2006 and let you know exactly what is in store for 2007.

2006 was an amazing year for us here. Red Fly Studios LTD separated the online marketing department into a completely new company (Still run by the same people!). Our client base grew by over three fold and we have made some amazing new friends and associates. RedFly Marketing was supposed to soft launch and hit hard when we came out of any search engine sandboxes. We spent a lot less time than expected in there and had to launch pretty early. Since then, we have been more than happy with the results and are about 8 months ahead of where we planned to be this time six months ago!

In the short time RedFly Marketing has operated separate from RedFly Studios, we have had an incredible impact on the search engines and got two new VERY happy clients who we have gotten some even better results! We hope to keep this up and help many more Irish businesses in 2007.

Now that the blog is up and running, here is my resolutions for the blog in the new coming year.

1) Write a basic SEO entry level post each week so I can refer back.

2) Write up a report on the research we have been doing over the past 4 months

3) Attend as many SEM conferences as possible (Dublin, London, New York?)

4) Collaborate with many associates on some research projects.

5) Put a photo of my ugly mug on the blog.

6) Help as many people as possible.

7) Explore (and of course share my findings) the world of Social Media Marketing

8) Some secret goodies I have lined up personally.

I would like to thank all the readers from 2006 for reading. I was not even expecting to begin blogging so soon. You can expect a lot more in 2007. Thank you to everyone who contacted me with questions and offers.

I wish everyone all the best in 2007 and I hope it is as good a year for everyone as 2006 was!
