The Irish Blog Awards - Best Blog from a Journalist
It’s that time again. I know I’m a little late posting this but as most of you know, the Irish blog awards have come around again. This year, the awards will be held on Saturday the 1st of March at 7.30pm in the Alexander Hotel in Dublin. The awards are again being organized by Mr Damien Mulley and promise to be a more “refreshing” change from the award events we have come to expect from Ireland. The blog awards are a non profit endeavor with all proceeds on the night going to Brainwave - the Irish Epilepsy Association, St. Francis Hospice and The Multiple Sclerosis Society of Ireland.
RedFly LTD are sponsoring the “Best Blog from a Journalist” category and are happy to announce the longlist…
- On The Record
- Present Tense
- Harry McGee
- UnaRocks
- Emigration etc
- Pricewatch
- The Sigla Blog
- Kathy Foley
- Richard Delevan
- Karlin Lillington
- David McWilliams
- Sarah Carey
- Haydn Shaughnessy
- Red Mum
- Community Voice Musings
- Crime Always Pays
- Nadine O’Regan

Best of luck to all the nominees and I am sure it will be a great night even though not everyone will win. There has been a facebook event for the 2008 Irish Blog Awards set up too. If you are on Facebook, come on in. Looking forward to seeing you all there.
