Internet Marketing In Ireland 2007
As the the internet continues to grow and the last few established companies are finally realizing the benefits of a company website more and more, people are starting to wonder why their website didn’t generate them 50% more sales like their web designers told them it would. I think Ireland is going to wake up in 2007 to the importance of online marketing and search engine optimisation for their online businesses.
After performing many successful Search Engine Optimisation campaigns for our web design clients, I can safely say that Irish SMEs really are falling behind when it comes to awareness of the importance of their websites online visibility. While it gives us great satisfaction meeting with a client and showing the improvements even a small campaign can have, it still underscores the fact that most Irish business still believe that if you build it, they will come.
2007 will be the first time Search Marketing World will be held and it will be held right here in Ireland. This is very exciting news as some of the biggest names is search will be attending and speaking at the event. The event being set up by InteractiveReturn is a HUGE step forward in the Irish online marketing industry. From the site:

I believe so too. I just registered some niche domains that definitely will pay off. Ireland is so far a pretty much untapped market. Thanks for the update!
